An Australian woman with a lot of talent for DIY projects shared images of her impressive bathroom transformation.
Posted to the Home Decorating Mums group on Facebook, the original bathroom looked dull, cramped, and with bad lighting, but was transformed into a modern space thanks to a coat of paint and new wooden shelves.
The back wall became an attractive element as it was painted black, while the sides and the ceiling remained white.
Since neither the plumbing nor the lighting were touched, the DIY project would have been affordable to complete. Taryn was pleased with the final result, but sought online help asking for ideas on how she should decorate the side walls.
The social media post quickly received thousands of ‘likes’.
Since the space is very small and narrow, many objected to the addition of other items on the side walls, as the area would become too ‘cluttered’.
“Change the toilet paper holder and put a frame on the shelves,” one person suggested.
